The management of ITALIAN FOOD EXHIBITION is committed to reducing its environmental impact, now and in the future. We proactively seek ways to minimize the environmental footprint of our events by implementing sustainable practices in logistics, transportation, site energy sources, waste management, food and beverage waste and materials displayed throughout the event.
Following the principles of social responsibility, the fair aims to reduce food waste and works with organisations to provide products to those in need.Together with a local food bank serving the wider Attica sector, the exhibition will donate food rations.

Health and wellness products
The Mediterranean Exhibition Centre (MEC) is a modern exhibition and conference centre in Greece, operating since 1989. Located in Peania, Attica, Greece, the MEC offers a vast space for a variety of events, including trade and consumer exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, cultural events and entertainment events.
The center has a total area of 35,000 square meters, with 12,000 square meters dedicated to exhibition space. The remaining 23,000 square meters provide ample free parking for visitors. The exhibition spaces are all located on the ground floor, with air conditioning, a pillarless design with high ceilings, spacious entrances for loading and unloading and modern amenities such as fire safety systems, emergency lighting, an announcement system, Wi-Fi, an exhibition services network, a medical centre, cafeterias, a restaurant and a telecommunications network.
The MEC is conveniently located for easy access by car, bus, metro or taxi. It is just 15 minutes from Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport and the Athens-Thessaloniki National Road and 25 minutes from the city centre. Guests arriving by car can take advantage of the MEC’s free parking facilities.
For those using public transport, the MEC is accessible via buses operated by a private company. The buses run every half hour between the Dukissis Plakentias metro station and the Exhibition Centre. In addition, several bus lines of OASA and long-distance coaches of KTEL Attica stop near the MEC.
Those travelling by train can reach the Dukissis Plakentias or Kantzas stations and then take a bus that connects to the Exhibition Centre.
